a beautiful time and place to be

I'm looking for a special photo. A photo that will reminds me of a time and place where the world was warm, beautiful and loving place to be. In that very moment I felt love and peace and I was happy to be me, happy to be where I was and satisfied with my life.

And here it is - here is that photo, that place that moment in time.

I so love this little sleeveless jacket/ waistcoat. This is also one of those projects that went super fast. If I remember correctly, from drafting the pattern, to cutting out and stitching it all together, it came together quite quickly.
What a treat! The pattern is also from the sewing magazine "Burdastyle" - where else?

a new blue dress

So, I'm a great fan of sewing magazines and this is my latest dress completed from the March 2014 edition. It went super fast, from cutting and putting it together. I'm very happy with the outcome and so glad that it was so easy to make.

Triangles quilt finaly finished!

I'm so utterly proud of myself for sticking it out on this one. It took almost 2 years to finish this project but I pushed through and never gave up.
